About My Sculpture Commissions

Bring Your Sculpture Vision to Life

I create bespoke metal and timber sculptures for private collectors, gardens, interiors, and architectural spaces. Each commissioned piece develops through close collaboration, resulting in a sculpture that responds to personal ideas, environment and story.

Working from my studio in the west of Ireland, my practice explores organic form, movement and the expressive qualities of metal. I combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sculptural design, allowing each commission to develop its own distinct presence and character.

Whether you are seeking a feature sculpture, a commemorative piece or a unique artwork designed for a specific space, I work closely with clients throughout the creative process to bring each vision into form.

What you can commission

I welcome a wide range of sculpture commissions, each developed in response to the client, environment, and intended purpose of the work.

Commissions may include:

• Garden and outdoor sculpture
• Interior feature or statement sculpture
• Memorial or commemorative sculpture
• Sculptural pieces for architectural or corporate spaces
• Collector and private commission pieces

Each sculpture is individually designed and handcrafted, allowing materials, scale, and form to evolve naturally through the creative process.

My background in engineering also informs my sculptural practice, enabling me to advise on structural design and material choices, particularly for outdoor works where longevity and environmental conditions must be carefully considered.

I am always open to discussing new ideas and projects, whether you have a clear concept or are looking for guidance in developing one.

Commission Process

I work closely with each client throughout every stage of a commission to ensure the final sculpture reflects your vision while also standing the test of time.

1. Initial Consultation
We begin with a conversation about your ideas, the intended space, scale, and purpose of the sculpture. This is where I listen carefully to your vision and provide guidance on what’s possible, helping shape your concept into something tangible.

2. Concept Development
Following our discussion, I create sketches, models, or concept drawings to explore materials, form, and overall design. Drawing on my engineering background, I can advise on material selection, structural considerations, and, for outdoor works, how the sculpture will weather over time.

3. Design Approval
Once the concept and materials are agreed upon, I finalise the design. This step ensures that you are confident in every aspect of the sculpture before creation begins.

4. Creation
I craft each sculpture by hand in my studio, combining traditional metalworking techniques with contemporary sculptural design. Every piece receives careful attention to detail, quality, and finish, ensuring it develops a strong presence and character.

5. Completion & Delivery
The finished sculpture is delivered or installed as required. I also provide guidance on placement, maintenance, and care, so your piece retains its beauty and durability for years to come.
